I arrived at this once-bustling railway stop on a day when the sky seemed to compete with the history beneath it. The station in Currie, Nevada, wears its past vividly, with boarded-up windows that tell stories of silence and abandonment. These are not just buildings; they are remnants of lives once lived. The old windmill, its blades reduced to two, creaks softly in the breeze that stirs the dry grass surrounding the ancient structure.
Walking around Currie feels like stepping into a still frame of history. The old railway lines, now rusted and weathered, lead up to the station as if waiting for a train that will never arrive.
