As I stood in the heart of Portland, Maine, I was captivated by the juxtaposition of history and modernity. My camera captured the essence of an old parking lot, reminiscent of a bygone era, nestled amid this thriving city. The aged asphalt, marked by years of use, tells a story of countless vehicles that have come and gone, while the surrounding structures exude a sense of architectural charm.
The buildings bordering the parking lot exhibit a mixture of architectural styles, reflecting the diverse history of Portland. I observed classic New England contemporary designs, creating a visually appealing blend of old and new.
