Dark jail cell corridor Kilmainham Gaol Prison | Wall Art
Dreary, dark, and cold old maximum security prison corridor to the jail cells that held famous Irish prisoners
The Kilmainham Gaol Prison is a fascinating piece of Irish History. The jail is over 220 years old and located outside Dublin, Ireland. It has incarcerated some of the most famous people in Ireland, criminals and revolutionaries.
In the urban photograph from Ireland, this part of the abandoned prison features an old dark section where they locked up the most notorious prisoners. The hallway contains numerous small, confined cells. Deep walled windows provide fresh air on one side. Unfortunately, the smell is musty, and the walls are damp. Only a couple of lightbulbs illuminate the dreary cell block. It could be something from a horror movie.
