I captured a stunning photograph of Chinese fishing nets in India during my travels there. The nets are intricately woven and hang from tall bamboo poles, stretching out over the water. The fishermen use these traditional nets to catch fish and other seafood in the coastal waters.
The location where I took this photograph is the southern Indian state of Kerala, specifically in the city of Kochi. Kochi is a vibrant port city with a rich history, known for its spice trade and cultural diversity. The architecture in the area reflects the city’s colonial past, with influences from the Portuguese, Dutch, and British.
