Standing beneath the towering Hallgrimskirkja in Reykjavik, Iceland, I couldn’t help but be drawn to the geometric beauty of its ceiling. This black-and-white photograph captures the view looking straight up, where the soaring arches converge in perfect symmetry. The simplicity of the monochrome treatment strips away any distractions, leaving only the purity of the architectural design.
The ceiling, with its pointed arches and clean lines, feels both monumental and ethereal. It’s as if the entire space is reaching toward something beyond, evoking a sense of calm and wonder.
