Looking at this street portrait image, the sunlight gently wraps around the young girl, casting a golden glow that seems to capture a fleeting moment in time. I remember taking this shot on Pollenthai Beach in India, just as the sun was beginning to set. What struck me most was the way the sun highlighted the details of her face, emphasizing her thoughtful eyes and the simple elegance of her traditional necklace. For me, this photograph is about more than just the person. It’s about capturing a feeling, a sense of place, and the emotions that momentarily surface when the light hits just right. It’s the kind of scene that feels both simple and layered, where each glance offers something new.
