Exploring the depths of rural Ontario, I discovered a barn that immediately caught my eye—not for its grandeur, but for its story. The upper part of the structure is clad in faded blue barnboard, a rare sight that sings of the barn’s aged persona. Below, the aluminum siding speaks to more practical, modern interventions likely aimed at prolonging its utility.
This barn sits quietly under the weight of a snowy blanket, typical of a Northern Ontario winter. Snowflakes continue to fall, softly layering the already heavy snow atop the barn.
