Main street small Tibetan town | Wall Art
Rural China town
We have an interesting photograph of a rural Tibetan town in Northern China. The building on each side of the street was a distinct Tibetan style. There was a large metal garbage can where the residents burned the garbage instead of taking it to any garbage dump facility. There were numerous automobiles and motorcycles parked on the side of the street. Multiple local people and Tibetan monks were walking on the streets.
One exciting aspect of this street photograph is that numerous people wore masks. This photo was taken years before COVID and any mask mandates. I guess the pollution levels were high, and residents wore masks to assist in breathing.
You can see the town entrance with numerous Tibetan prayer temples at the end of the street. In addition, you can see the typical Tibetan prayer flags in the far distance on the mountainside.
